Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Gbkl 238 boxcar from the earlier Gl Dresden Interchange Type Gl. Short version, without handbrakes, brakeman’s platform, and brakeman’s cab. Version without doors on the end walls. The car looks as it did around 1972.
Model: The car does not have doors on the end walls indicated. It does have truss rods and additional steps. The model is lettered for LOEWE.
