Coco Coir has a high water holding capacity, which does not make it the best option for use in frequently irrigated hydroponics systems, such as Flood & Drain systems.
To tailor the characteristics of our ?charged? coco coir and make it perfect for these applications we have blended 60% clay pebbles with 40% Coco Coir to reduce the water holding, creating a mix with fast drainage and improved air space.

Directions for use COCO COIR 100%:
Simply open the bag and pour the coco into your pots – there’s no measuring or blending needed, we’ve done the hard work for you! If you have time, work your hands through the coco lightly to remove any lumps. Ideal for use with drip irrigation or hand watering systems.The Charge in the coco gives a slow nutrient release so you can start feeding with your nutrient program from day one. Start with a low EC between 0.6-1.2 and use a coco-specific nutrient formula.
