The D5S is designed for silverado headlight housing. There's zero need to bypass the ballast or cut/ splice wires to power the LED headlight bulbs like universal bulbs on the markert. Our driver duplicates its shape and mounting location. It smoothly installs onto the ballast location. Extended dust cover with built-in turbofan is designed with an electronic valve. This electronic valve will open when the LED bulb is running, the turbofan dissipates heat to outside. When the LED bulb stops working, the electronic valve will close automatically and prevents water/dust goes into the housing. Keep the bulb from dust/water/moisture. The uniqueness is that the external ballast driver is the same as the dust cover in appearance, but with bigger space for LED bulb. So, the ballast driver can replace the dust cover. What's more, the ballast diver was deisgned with a turbo fan, which could dissipate heat from inside to outside of the housing. This design is unique on the market that integrate cooling system, ballast driver and dust cover, which keep LED bulbs lasting longer and working stably.
