RARE FIND VTG Pre 1960’s custom Made Swing Coat Black.

What I know about this coat:

Found in a Vtg shop years ago in St. Louis

Exquisite tailoring per my expert seamstress friend who has looked this over thoroughly

Fabric has the appearance of grosgrain ribbon. Could be a form of silk. We believe it was made to go over formal wear back in the day. Lining is not original because we found traces of black lining.

Armpit to armpit is 26”

Midsection measures 52”

2 Welt pockets

Sleeve length is 24”. Looks good cuffed or uncuffed. 3” available if hem on sleeves need to be let out.

47 1/2” length overall

Raglan sleeves

There is a small lapel which goes all the way down front

This is a ONE OF A KIND rare find.
