Ampeg SCR-DI Bass Preamp DI Scrambler Overdrive Preamplifier

The SCR-DI is a bass DI with a scrambler overdrive in addition to the Ampeg-traditional wide-toned preamp section.

The preamp section features Classic Ampeg's three-band Bass/Middle/Treble EQ, plus Ultra High/Ultra Low shaping switches.

It also features the latest base scrambler overdrive feature that adds distortion from overdrive to distortion like a vacuum tube amplifier.

The SCR-DI makes it easy to create your favorite Ampeg tone, and even sends the sound as DI to the PA console. It also features a headphone jack and an AUX input with level control so you can use it as a headphone amplifier.

It's compact enough to fit in a gig bag, so you can easily play anywhere with a portable audio player connected and a backin-track running.

Inside is a -15 dB jumper switch that works with the active bass.

Power can be supplied by a 9V battery or by using a power supply (sold separately).
