It is best to download the proper firmware that you have to purchase from a 3rd party, install it and use one of your working cartridges with the chip removed to make sure the system is set up correct before installing the new cartridges. Once the cartridges are installed you will need to run the head cleaning program at least 10 times to prime your system.
Please note if the software is installed correctly all four of your ink cartridges will show 100% full. even if only one of them is installed
To make the cartridges work without chips you will need to download chipless firmware from sights like inkchip.net it requires an activation code purchase in order to install the 3rd party software. Keep reading for more.
This is for chipless use unless you buy chips for it. We do not recommend buying the chips since they are self-destructive and you will have to replace them constantly. This defeats the purpose of going chipless.
