Style: Pair of coordinating Rose O'Neill "Traveler" bisque figure dolls, each with their original Germany labels intact. Smaller dated 1913.
Size: 3-3/4" approx height for larger; 2-3/4" approx height for smaller.
Condition: Very good antique condition, some mild smudges that we did not attempt to clean.
You are purchasing BOTH figures in this one lot, each with original antique label.
My favorite reference quote about the history of Kewpies: Rose called the tiny fairies Kewpies because she said that was short for Cupid. "Cupid gets you into trouble and the Kewpies get you out." The purpose of these elves is to do good deeds in a funny way.
