This alloy is less susceptible to distortion, growth, and increase in resistance when heated than other alloys of similar composition. This wire is for repair and maintenance of electronic components. Typical applications for KANTHAL® A-1 are electrical heating elements in high-temperature furnaces for heat treatment, ceramics, glass, steel, and electronics industries.
