I would highly advise against it as I do not believe the plastic is microwave safe. The containers are best suited to hold sandwiches, fresh fruits or vegetables, and prepared cold foods such as cheeses, meats, or sushi. The ventilation on the sides is useful for preventing some foods from getting soggy. Comes from a smoke free home. Will be packed with extra love and care and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
