The postage stamp "Russian warship, go ..." depicts a Ukrainian border guard showing an obscene gesture to the cruiser Moskva. On the first day of the war, his command offered the Ukrainian servicemen from Serpent's Island to surrender, to which they received a laconic answer.
The uniqueness of this brand is that the next day after the stamp was put into circulation, on the night of April 13-14, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully attacked the flagship cruiser Moskva with two Neptune anti-ship missiles. The cruiser sank and now lies at the bottom of the Black Sea.
The sinking of the flagship cruiser Moskva is the most expensive military loss of the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine. Presumably, with an initial cost of about $ 2 billion, the residual value of the cruiser was $ 750 million. It is also the largest naval loss since World War II.
Thus, the stamp has become a kind of prophecy - it depicts the cruiser moskva with tail number 121, and it is this cruiser that the Ukrainian military sends to a well-known address.
