These are CNC Machined in the USA using 6061 billet aluminum purchased in the USA.
Up for auction we have a SET of centering cones used to center the tire in a manual tire change machine. This is meant to be used with a 1.67" center post. The first cone has a range of 1.75"- 3.75" the second has a range of 3.5" across the top and 5.4" across the bottom corners.
You may ask why not just make a big cone to cover the whole range? The answer is, on the bigger holed rims you will have to much centering cone sticking though the rim that could cause to hit the tire machine and not hold the rim properly.
A stepped cone like this works nice for bigger diameter wheels such as 4WD. The cone wont stick past the rim as far compared to a cone that comes to a point.
This center post size is very popular with many import tire machines like Harbor Freight, or many other places may carry. But please check your size to be sure as some machines do not use this size.
