Phantom tickets from 1972 for American League Championship series games of the New York Yankees played at Yankee Stadium in New York, New York. 

The Yankees were one of several teams that were allowed to print post season tickets in anticipation of them making the playoffs towards the end of the 1972 season. The Yankees did not make the playoffs in 1972 and the ticket stock was designated as "phantom" ticket stock to differentiate it from tickets from actual playoff games.
