Nossen
Nossen is a town in the district of Meißen, in the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is part of the Dresden region, and located 80 km southeast of Leipzig. The town is dominated by a large Renaissance castle. During World War II, a subcamp of Flossenburg concentration camp was located here.
Nossen ist eine Kleinstadt im sächsischen Landkreis Meißen. Sie ist vor allem durch das Autobahndreieck Nossen bekannt, das die A 14 an die A 4 anbindet.
Das Gebiet um Nossen fand erstmals 1162 im Zusammenhang mit dem Kloster Altzella Erwähnung. Für 1185 ist ein Herrensitz der Ritter vom Nuzzin nachzuweisen (Rechtsstreit zwischen den Rittern und dem Kloster wird urkundlich erwähnt). Die Ritter bewohnten eine in Resten erhaltene Wallburg auf dem Rodigt, einer Anhöhe in Nossen. 1254 entstand ein Dorf, das 1376 oppidum genannt wurde. Im Jahre 1264 ist eine Kirche in Nossen erwähnt. 1315 gingen Burg und Ort in den Besitz der Bischöfe von Meißen über, 1436 in den Besitz des Klosters Altzella. Nachdem 1540 der Klosterbesitz säkularisiert wurde, wurde die Verwaltung des umfangreichen Amts Nossen auf das hochgelegene Schloss verlegt. 1565 wurde die heutige Kirche nach einem Großbrand mit den Steinen des Klosters gebaut. Im Jahr 1664 erhielt Nossen das Stadtrecht.

When total value of item(s) is over $50, I'll insist on insurance (registered mail) which costs roughly 3.50 USD / 2.50 EUR depending on exchange rate. When shipping is to central or southern Italy, I'll most probably ask you to pay for insurance (registered mail), it is just that I have bad experience with Italian postal service.
