         THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND ITEM! I've never heard of a well known company, giving a scrap book away to the buying public. Of course we all know LARKIN & CO always had their great cards everywhere they could! That was called smart advertising! However to actually GIVE AWAY A WHOLE SCRAP BOOK, DEDICATED TO LARKIN CARDS? No, I've never heard of that! This was glued to the inside cover of an old scrap book. That book was on it's last leg and could NOT be saved! However this great piece of information was gently given back to us collectors! (Good things come to those who wait) It took 4 days of pampering to get this saved, but worth the effort. How may more are out there? In the 1880's everyone knew about the Larkin Co and their many different soap names, so this was a great idea to keep the potential buyer coming back for more LARKIN CO soap only! As you can see, it is not perfectly flat in the center, and I don't know if that could be flattened without hurting it. Every word is easy to read, so I won't try!
