This remarkable vintage article was made by Establecimientos Ibanez in Arequipa Peru, especially known for its leatherwork in the middle of the 20th century. This is a travel dopp kit/shaving kit, which I estimate was made in the 1950s. The case is handtooled leather, which unzips on three sides so that it can lie flat. Inside are six metal containers: two canisters, one shorter and one taller, which have holes in the top (presumably for powders); a brush (the bristles look like plastic); a green-lined rectangular case that was probably meant to hold an old-time travel razor that you could take apart; and another rectangular case that may have been for soap. There is also a plastic comb. On the facing side of the inside of the case is a leather strap that ends in a metal snap (functional); you could put something very thin and flat under the strap.
For measurements, etc., please see the photographs; they constitute part of the description.
