The hot new Delta II rocket is now available in different versions!

The Delta II was an American satellite launch vehicle developed and operated as a disposable rocket. It had boasted a high performance record of more than 150 successful launches to date, but after completing the launch of an observation satellite in October 2011, the decision was made to effectively retire the rocket.

Space Dragon Wings has completely recreated the 7925H, the heaviest payload launchable configuration of the Delta II 7000 series, in a three-stage rocket with nine GEM-46 large auxiliary rockets. The rocket itself as well as the details of the GEM are faithfully modeled.

Markings on the rocket body and launch pad are carefully reproduced as they were on the Delta II during the Mars Exploration Orbiter Opportunity launch mission in July 2003.
