Although it looks like a regular expensive top hat iy has some secrets, it can compress and pop up which is perfect for magic tricks. It also has a secret pocket in the inside at the top. 

It has a stiff brim and it is all covered in black velvet with a black silk top on the inside with the secret pocket. It has 2 mechanical arms inside the sides of the hat that give it the ability to be compressed down and you can pop it up with a quick press on the side walls. 

It fits an adult size head . 

The inside head measurements are 7.5inch by 6.5inch and the outer hat measures 12 inch by 10.5 inch by 5.5 inch tall. 

It has the Melissa and Doug makers tag inside.
