A gorgeous handmade piece in very fine silk Petit Point.  The canvas appears to have been painted or dyed and then stitched over, consequently where there are a number of places where the stitches have deteriorated, but there is still paint so you hardly see the thread loss.  It portrays a lovely small farm with chickens and a body of water that beautifully mirrors some of the buildings.  The detail is very fine and it would be magnificent in a frame.
