A partial self-contained manuscript DS related to finances, March 11, 1876, signed by James Armstrong of the South Carolina Company K ‘Irish Volunteers,’ remembered for his actions at Gettysburg where he seized the battle flag of his regiment from the fallen color bearer and led his men onward through the town square. In overall very good to fine condition.
