This listing is for a circa 1963 lightly used but excellent WHITE DOT SHEAFFER 1250 LIFETIME fountain pen in BLACK.  The pen is 5-3/8" long and made in the Imperial style: in fact, differing only in that these pens were cartridge fillers only, as opposed to touchdown style Imperial.  Additionally they are marked "Lifetime" on the clip, cap imprint and the nib. This pen has perfect trim and near flawless plastic ( couple of minor scratches). It still has remains of the silkscreen 1250 LIFETIME mark on the barrel. The cap is imprinted just above the cap band, SHEAFFER'S - LIFETIME- MADE IN USA. The beautiful inlaid nib is marked SHEAFFER'S, LIFETIME, 14K. The nib appears to be an extra fine and is quite firm and flawless. A spent cartridge remains installed and I'd bet it was the only one ever used.
