Here's a really nice, circa 1927, WAHL EVERSHARP fountain pen in red hard rubber with a simulated wood grain pattern ( The real title of the "never to be mentioned r--ewood" company tile, refers to a color, not actual wood.) The pen's basic model number, I believe to be 72. The pen is 5-3/16" long, and has a soldier style rollerball clip. Gold filled trim includes the roller clip and 2 cap and 1 barrel bands and the lever. All trim in excellent condition. External marks are only WAHL-EVERSHARP on the clip and an imprinted MADE IN USA at the top of the clip and the factory inlaid GREGG logo at the top of the cap. No noted flaws. Lever filler takes up lots of ink. The nib is a fine firm and is marked WAHL-EVERSHARP, 14k, 2, MANIFOLD in perfect condition. Outstanding pen.
