Here we have a group of two, original 1 panel "Belvedere" cartoons, from creator and illustrator Nat Greenwood (George Crenshaw), along with a letter from him to famed illustrator Bill "Tex" Henson, who apparently was looking to Greenwood to pick up a little extra work. The letter is signed. "Belvedere" was a cartoon series that ran from 1962-1995, appearing in magazines across the country. Greenwood began his career working at Disney, on such projects as Fantasia and Pinocchio, later moving on to work in the comics industry on series such as Bugs Bunny and Woody Woodpecker. All items are still in really good shape, no damage, and would look fantastic framed as a group, as they should be. Wonderful addition for any collector of original comic art. The panel cartoons measure approx. 5 X 8 inches each. Please be sure to examine the photos closely for yourself.
