Manthorpe Underfloor Telescopic & Through Wall Vents & Airbrick Adapter Sleeves
The G960 Telescopic Underfloor Void Ventilator is designed to provide a clear airflow passage to the void underneath a suspended floor.
The telescopic feature enables the ventilator to adjust vertically between three and five brick courses.
The right airflow can be achieved when the ventilator is uséd with a Manthorpe G930 Airbrick.
The aperture can also accept a standard clay airbrick, although the airflow is reduced.
6,600mm² airflow
Allows ventilation to an underfloor void
Allows a 3-5 course stagger
Additional depth and cavity span available with extension sleeve
The G960 should be fitted in at least two opposing walls to create a through flow of ventilation into an underfloor void. As N.H.B.C recommendations state “Ventilators should be placed at not more than two metre centres and within 450mm of each end of the wall”. Bricklaying should then be completed as normal although care should be taken to keep the air flow passage clear from mortar droppings.

The G961 Extension Sleeve has been designed for use with the Manthorpe Telescopic Underfloor Ventilator (G960).
Each extension sleeve allows the vent to reach a further two brick courses vertically. The sleeve can also be fitted to the base of the G960 to provide horizontal extension through larger cavities.
6,600mm² airflow
Allows ventilation to an underfloor void
Additional depth and cavity span
Allows a 3-5 course stagger + 2 courses per unit
Fitting Requirements
Each sleeve slots between the upper and lower mouldings of the telescoping underfloor vents, enabling a further two course brick adjustment vertically. Alternatively the sleeve can also be clipped to the base outlet to provide horizontal extension through larger cavities or wider internal block work

The G962 Remote Void Ventilator is designed to connect the G930 Air Brick or G960 Underfloor Vent to a 4” Round Pipe or alternatively Manthorpe’s GRPA/1 Flexible Pipe.
The adapter fits directly onto the bottom of the G960 Under floor Vent and can be easily cut down between the pre moulded cut lines to fit the G930 Airbrick.
To fit the product to an airbrick, cut the front section off between the pre-moulded cut lines and push on to the back of the brick. The G962 can also be pushed onto the back of the G960 Under floor Ventilator allowing a 4” pipe connection.
The G965 Dual Extended Telescopic Underfloor Void Ventilator is designed to provide a clear airflow passage to a void beneath an insulated suspended floor.
The current and future requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations along with other standards and regulations have led to an increase in the depth of thermal insulation in suspended floors along with an increase in cavity widths to accommodate greater amounts of cavity wall insulation. This has meant that clear access to an underfloor void may be as far as 6 or 7 brick courses (525mm) below the level of an airbrick and potentially as much as 350mm from the outer face of the external leaf. Traditional telescopic underfloor ventilators would not be able to achieve this without the use of additional vertical and horizontal extension sleeves.
The G965 offers a vertical telescopic adjustment of between 5 and 8 brick courses without the need for an extension sleeve. The horizontal outlet is long enough to bridge through an overall wall thickness of 350mm without the need for an additional extension.
The front aperture of the G965 is designed for use with a G930 Combination Airbrick or it can be uséd in conjunction with a traditional clay airbrick, although this would reduce the overall airflow through the system.
Fitting Requirements
The G965 should be fitted in at least two opposing walls to create a through flow of ventilation into an underfloor void. As N.H.B.C recommendations state “Ventilators should be placed at not more than two metre centres and within 450mm of each end of the wall”. Bricklaying should then be completed as normal although care should be taken to keep the air flow passage clear from mortar droppings.

The G935 Combination Cavity Sleeve fits into the back of Manthorpe’s G930 Airbrick to ventilate through a standard cavity or solid brick wall.
The unit can be stacked to create a 9" x 6" and 9" x 9" alternative, and telescopes to fit cavity widths of 50mm to 100mm, with further extension possible through the addition of extra product units.
The G935 also includes an integral wind baffle.
Features & Fitting
Can be slotted and telescoped onto itself
Will work with the G930 when stacked in 9" x 6" and 9" x 9" combinations
Integral wind baffle
Will also act as an extension to the G960
Fitting Requirements
The G935 Combination Cavity Sleeve should be fitted to the back of a G930 Combination Airbrick 9" x 3" and adjusted to fit the desired cavity width.
It can be uséd in any combination required and built into the brick course as normal although care should be taken to keep the airflow passage clear from mortar droppings.

The Manthorpe G930 Airbrick has been designed to provide high levels of ventilation into cavity walls and underfloor voids. The 9" x 3" brick is stackable and can be joined together to create larger vent openings. The airbrick features a front mounted grill which consists of evenly spaced openings specifically sized to prohibit large insects gaining access but wide enough not to be blocked by debris, paint or water droplets. A mortar key around the edge of the airbrick ensures it can be securely fixed to the surrounding masonry.
