You
are purchasing a 2022 Bowman Draft Chrome Base auto and Auto variation #BD-23 serial numbered
32/99 of Washington Nationals Prospect Elijah Green. The variation and the base auto card are both signed in a crisp blue sharpie
and are certified by Topps. The card is
a case hit, is a photo variation of the original card and is his 1st
prospect card. This card was also carefully placed in a soft sleeve and top-load immediately after opening the pack. Elijah Green is pictured
in high resolution photography and is glossy to the touch. He is the number 3 prospect for the 2022 MLB
draft. He hit 4 homeruns for USA
baseball 18U national team. He blazes 60
yard dash times as low as 6.16 seconds, is an all fields hitter with an
authoritative cut, has scintillating power, and is a strong arm defender with
all kinds of range to name a few. The highest Washington Nationals draft pick since they took Bryce Harper first overall in 2010, Green brings a similar ability to change the game with one swing. Having spent the majority of his amateur career in center field, he has the speed to stay there. as well as the stats and size that scream "power hitter!" As an added bonus, you will receive a 2022
Bowman Draft Heir Apparent insert refractor card #HA-5 serial numbered 224/250,
a refractor card and a chrome card both # BDC-23 in 2022 Bowman Draft and a
2022 Bowman Draft base card # BD-23 of Elijah Green. These cards are an absolute must have for any
Elijah Green, top prospect or any Washington Nationals collector/fan/investor!
Elijah Green is the son of former
NFL Pro Bowl tight end Eric Green, and at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, he looks like
he could have followed in his father’s footsteps had he not desired a future on
the diamond. Green really jumped on the map with a strong performance at the
Area Code Underclass event in the summer of 2020, leading some to wish he'd
reclassified for the 2021 Draft. Instead, he stuck to the 2022 class and went
fifth overall to the Nationals, signing for $6.5 million. A right-handed hitter, Green is capable of
doing just about everything very well. He can make very loud contact and has
proven he can drive the ball to all fields and hit the ball out of the park
just about anywhere with at least plus raw power. He did that this spring in
front of a lot of decision makers. The one question that had arisen about his
offensive upside had been about the swing-and-miss in his game. He’s struggled
in the past against elevated velocity and there are some concerns about his
ability to adjust to offspeed and breaking stuff, but assuaged many of those
fears with how he swung the bat this spring. Green is an elite-level runner who
can steal bases and cover a ton of ground in the outfield, where he should be
able to man center field with a plus arm for a very long time to come. His
complete tool set doesn’t come around very often, and he immediately becomes
one of the most exciting high-ceiling talents in the Washington system. Elijah Green is also the no.2 prospect of the
Washington Nationals at the time of this write up.
