Up for sale is the hardcover book titled "The Battle of the Strong" subtitled "A Romance of Two Kingdoms" written by Gilbert Parker. It was published by Grosset and Dunlap and has a 1897 copyright. This is an 1898 printing of the book. The book is in acceptable and readable vintage condition with a firm spine, no rips or tears of pages. I've photographed some random sample pages so you can see its content and condition. Please see photos for overall condition. 466 pages Book Condition Issues: Small 'holes' in cloth cover (probably insect damage). Inscription to previous owner on first blank page. Water stain in bottom margin area of most pages and extending up into spine about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Good spine, no rips or tears. Please see photos. Questions?
