Vintage Carved Tagua Nut (Vegetable Ivory) Necklace on Cord Chunky Beads B & W

This necklace has a lot going on. There are whole tagua nuts that are cored, the core replaced so they can be strung, carved tube shaped tagua nut beads, smaller beads that look like ivory and the wonderful closure that shows the natural core of the nut and displays how the nuts look with the coating peeled away, undyed and as they are in nature. The closure involves a loop in the cord that the sliced nut slips into. 23-24" long. This is a statement piece.
