This device is used to locate short circuits and help find lives wires, a built in LED light glows when the circuit is complete, 4.5ft long with a sharp steel piercing probe and one end and crocodile clip on the other end used to test car fuses, lights and sockets etc. for a voltage range of 6-12V

Connect the crocodile clip to the ground (Chassis), then take the probe to test circuit. The sharp steel probe easily pierces wire insulation to check circuit continuity.

usage instructions
Please use as below
Connect the clip to ground or the car Chassis or Ground
the built in light will glow when you find the live wire
to find a break in the circuit : please probe until the light turns off
for fuse testing : please touch the tip of the tester to the fuse terminal, a glowing light means a working fuse
to test brake lights etc : connect the crocodile clip to the chassis then probe the base of the shell
