There are 25mm of foam padding on the bottom to protect your ukulele whenever you plop it down on the beach, the sidewalk or just about any hard surface. The outside of thsi great bag is heavy water repellant nylon in a playful , stylized, Union Jack flag pattern . The insde is ultra smooth satin styled nylon/polyester which will protect anything stored inside without scratching .
