A 265mm repointing chisel used for clearing out old mortar from between brick joints and for general plugging work on masonry. The fluted shape helps give controlled contact when working along mortar lines, making it a practical hand tool for brick and cement repair jobs.

Used for repointing tasks, renovation work and maintenance on brickwork, this type of chisel suits anyone removing loose or damaged mortar before re-filling joints. It can also be used where controlled masonry removal is needed on small areas of brick or cement, whether for home repairs, site work or general building maintenance. For tradesmen and capable DIY users, it is useful when neat access into mortar joints matters more than broad demolition.

At 265mm long, it gives a sensible working length for hand use, helping with reach into joints while still remaining manageable in tighter areas. The fluted design is suited to plugging and mortar clearing work, especially where you want to follow the joint more accurately rather than remove too much surrounding material. Its straightforward single-piece format keeps the tool easy to store with other masonry hand tools and useful for repeated repair and repointing work when brick joints need cleaning out properly before fresh mortar is applied.
