I live in a remote area where the Post Office van only visits twice a week so I have a 3-day posting time frame.
PLUS - Royal Mail only delivers 2nd class post every other day and NOT at weekends.
Delivery days are:
week 1 - Monday, Wednesday & Friday;
week 2 - Tuesday & Thursday.
Because of this, eBay delivery estimates are incorrect and average delivery time should be 5 working days minimum. Please be patient before opening an item not received dispute because I have no control over eBay's unrealistic estimates.
