William F Berry Signed Oil Painting on Board Southwest Desert Landscape w Cactus

William F. Berry, original oil painting on board of a southwest desert landscape with cactus, signed W. F. Berry in the lower right, 6 ½ by 8 ½ inches, in  excellent condition.  Berry has painted a gold border around the painting.

William F. Berry is a listed Southern California artist best known for his landscape paintings.  As can be seen in this and another painting I am offering on eBay, he visited and painted many remote locations in the southwest with a keen eye for subtle colorings in both the landscape and sky.  He painted from the 1930s to the 1960s as best as I can determine.  This painting looks to be from the 1950s or 1960s.
