Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old stock distributor drive shaft assembly, Auto-Lite part number IGS-1187L. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to my Auto-Lite Manual, this is used on the following models and years:
1948 Nash..Model 4840 "600" Six 6 cylinder, original Auto-Lite distributor number IGC-4512
The shaft is in brand new, never used condition and shows no sign of ever being mounted or installed. It does have some extremely minor surface rust from many years of shelf storage. May or may not need a light polishing up before installation. There is an original Auto-Lite parts tag still attached to the piece.
