In French, L'Ange Conducteur Dans La Devotion Chretienne Ecrit par un Carme de la Provence D'Alemagne Aix 1741, June 12 [The Leading Angel in Christian Devotion, Written by a Carmelite from the Province of Germany, Aix 1741, June 12].  The volume measures 4" x 5-3/4" and consumes 137 numbered pages, the last one blank.  With marbled pastedowns and the text block gilded.  The Contents display in our gallery, as well as a fair representation of the condition of the book.  Remarkably well-illustrated for an 18th Century text.  Unique to the Web in this specific form, but a well-known title in Devotionals.  Collectible.

Condition:

Sound book in good condition, exceptional for an antique volume of this genre.  Rubbed at corners and spine-ends but patterned edges of boards remain.  No marking but isolated instances of ink blots.
