Vintage metal COVERED WAGON Banthrico still bank SOUTHWEST FED SAVINGS KANSAS
Covered Wagon shaped still bank is a promotional advertising piece for the SOUTHWEST FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN ASS'N of Wichita, Kansas. The bank is sturdy and well made with green enameled title piece. A coin slot on the bottom receives the money. The metal trap door opens with a key (no key).
Marked on the bottom; "Banthrico, inc. Chicago USA"
This bank appears to be made of a copper alloy. It's heavy for it's size.
Measures 4" tall and 5" wide.
Banthrico Covered wagon shaped still bank has no rust or dents. High areas are rubbed to a copper color. Bank is empty. Please note there is abrasion to the front hoop of the wagon canvas and paint residue on the top of the piece. Please inspect photos.
