Bristle Medium
CLEAR A BENCH IN ONE SWEEP
330mm of working width, with bristles firm enough to mean it.
A bench and counter brush built for clearing work surfaces, prep tables and conveyor runs. The medium grade sits between soft and hard — firm enough to move crumb, trimmings and damp residue, without being so stiff it scatters fine material across the room.
Why Buyers Choose It
330mm working width
Clears a full bench or conveyor run in a few passes instead of a dozen.
Medium bristles
The all-round grade — handles crumb, trimmings and damp residue alike.
Approved for food contact
Meets (EC) 1935/2004, UK 2019 No. 704 and FDA CFR 21 — certified, not assumed.
Autoclave and dishwasher safe
Sterilises at 121 °C, washes at 93 °C. Cleans down properly between shifts.
Stainless anchored bristles
Polyester filament in AISI 304L staples. Nothing to corrode, nothing to shed.
Hangs and drains
Drop-shaped hanging hole stops water pooling and keeps the brush off the bench.
Medium Or Soft?
This is the medium grade — the sensible default for general bench and counter work, where you're moving a mix of crumb, trimmings, packaging debris and slightly damp material. If the job is purely fine dry powder on smooth surfaces — flour, sugar, spice, fine dust — the same brush is made in a soft grade with thinner bristles that lift fine particles rather than scattering them. We stock both; message us if you'd like the soft version in your colour.
Colour Coding & Hygienic Zoning
Tying a brush to one zone or task is one of the simplest ways to demonstrate cross-contamination control to an auditor, and it works equally well for 5S programmes outside food. Blue commonly covers raw fish and seafood — though every site sets its own scheme, so always follow your own documented colour plan.
This brush is made in a full range of colours. If you're colour coding across several zones, message us and we'll match the set.
