If you love chai but sometimes crave a less creamy version, Bangladeshi Chai (Rong Cha) is the answer to your tea dreams. Also known as “red tea,” Rong Cha creates a magical sense of balance with its homeland, Bangladesh, which is known as “Asia’s greenest jewel.” Traditionally brewed in a stovetop pot and served sweet, Rong Cha is a lush blend of broken leaf black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaf. This aromatic and uplifting full-bodied tea will put a spring in your step and a smile on your face.

 

 

Brewing Instructions:

To Make 1 Cup: Add 1 tsp of tea to a teapot, a tea maker, or an infuser pot, mug or cup. Pour in 200 ml of water boiled to 100°C. Steep for 2 – 3 min. Strain into cup or, if using an infuser, remove it from the cup or mug. Enjoy pure or sweeten to taste.
