Uguisu products are made from free-range Nightingales birds droppings. This unusual and rare treatment has been used by Japanese Geishas for centuries to clear and revitalise their skin. They found the droppings helped treat signs of ageing and sun damage, minimising and reducing pore size, skin discolorations and giving skin a younger, softer appearance. Uguisu is processed by harvesting the Japanese Nightingale bird’s droppings and drying them out in the sun for at least 2 weeks. After collection, they are treated with UV light to sanitise and dehydrate them before being turned into a fine powder and shipped for use by salons. Note: Uguisu is only collected from free range birds which means the birds are never put in a cage or confined.

How to Use:

Wet the skin and use the Uguisu Soap directly touching the skin. DO NOT USE A WASHCLOTH OR A BATH SPONGE. Create a rich lather by rubbing the soap using a circular motion for the face and linear motion for the body, arms and legs. Wait for about 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. Repeat if necessary. Use every time you shower for best results.
