Why ceiling roses, medallions or rosettes?
- Ceiling roses, rosettes or medallions are decorative and they provide a neat adhesion of your light fitting to plaster and Gyprock ceilings. Without them, lights don't look as tidy. They also help blend in with the other decorative elements like cornices, architraves and skirting/base boards creating awesome cohesion in your space.
- Vented roses were traditionally used to add extra ventilation and draw up smoke from fireplaces and gas lamps during the Victorian era. However, today our ceilings are all sealed to prevent heat loss and this one is sealed.
- As Wikipedia says 'The rose has symbolised secrecy since Roman time. Through its promise of this secrecy, the rose, suspended above a meeting table, symbolises the freedom to speak plainly without repercussion.'

Installation:
- The rose needs to be attached with ceiling adhesive (plaster mix that we also sell) and screws to ceiling joists. They are heavy!
- For vented roses, make sure to paint your ceiling black, so the holes 'pop'!

Packing and delivery:
- Items will be packed securely and with the upmost care to prevent any potential damages.
- All packages are sent via Sendle. They can't deliver to Post Office boxes, auction houses, malls, furniture and retail stores, hospitals, military bases and airports.
Breakages:
- Despite that we package our products like works of art, occasionally items do get damaged in transport by couriers.
- All our packages are insured.
- Once you receive the package, please take a photo of the packaging.
- If there are any breakages on the inside, we must be notified within 12 hours so we can raise a case with the freight company.
- Clear photos must be sent to us of: 1. the outside packaging, 2. the Sendle label on the outside, 3. the plaster damage and 4. the inside packaging.
- We will then inspect and upon our approval, we will send a replacement free of charge.
- Without the above details within the specified timeframes, we can't entertain replacements.
Pick up address:- 954-956 Port Road, Albert Park, SA, 5014, open 7am - 5pm weekdays and 9am - 2pm Saturday.
Returns:
- 30-day return policy, buyer to pay for postage.
- Must arrive undamaged and in original condition.
- Upon inspection a refund will be issued minus a 10% restocking fee.

Handling:
- As we are a small business and a small team, up to a 10 day handling has been applied.
- We will endeavour to get packages ready for delivery as soon as possible.
- For collection, we will contact you when the goods are ready.
