Dear eBay customer,

The NEMO 200 is one of the most reliable, simple and low cost deep water video camera housings you can make.

There are no other housings out there that can fit as many sizes of cameras, go as deep ( 200 feet) and is as reliable and low cost to make as the NEMO 200.

The directions in my DVD will show you how to add the groove for the o ring to one end of your pvc pipe and also how to make your lens cradle and arms to hold the housing. You can buy stainless clamps from the supplier listed in the dvd or find cheap steel ones at your local hardware.

In the DVD I give the parts needed, the procedures for assembling and also how to manufacture a couple of the parts that can not be bought off the shelf.

This information, these procedures, took me a very long time to acquire. No one showed me how to make a deep water low cost housing, I had to figure it out all by myself, and in the beginning I made an awful lot of mistakes in both money and time.

The information you get on the 90 minute DVD is how I make the NEMO 200 after learning from making over 300 of them using very simple, easily duplicated, low tech methods.

Can you make the NEMO 200?

If you have the aptitude to safely use a power tool like a table saw and can make a picture frame or replace your garbage disposal or change a flat, then you can probably make a NEMO with very little problem. And if you do have a problem I am only an email away.

The manufacturing is a simple step by step process. You will need to create a couple of the parts but it is not that hard. Nearly all the parts are of the shelf. You probably have most of the tools, and the few you don't you can get cheaply on Craigslist and resell when you are done.

You don't need a big shop space either. Believe it or not, I assembled close to 200 of the housings in a one bedroom apartment on Miami Beach by just doing the major cutting in my sisters backyard.

The average price of my raw materials buying in bulk was close to $70, your number may differ, and could actually be much less following some of my tips.

The size of the NEMO shown is a 6 inch diameter housing so any camera that is less than 5 inches wide or tall will fit.

I also show you the part numbers and manufacturers of the parts I used. This will save you a ton of time.

There are no controls in my housing design and I don't provide information on adding them. In studying the housing designs of major companies, I found the majority of all their reported leaks were on account of leakage at controls and operator error. By eliminating controls the NEMO 200 design has proven itself to be an ultra reliable design. Also, in my humble opinion, most video can be improved far better by lights than by controls. Many of my customers have added interior external monitors with no problem, but they are not needed in most cases.

When you are done you will have a housing that can take about any size video camera and go to 200 feet.

One of the nice things about the design is if you need a larger or smaller diameter housing to accommodate your camera, the parts used are available in different diameters so you can change the size.

The major drawback of the NEMO 200 will be your housing will be home made looking, because it is home made, but the design has been proven to be flawless when it comes to safety and reliability proven by thousands of dives of housings made to this design.

There are better looking housings, but none more reliable, more simple or more low cost.

If you decide to buy this DVD, (and if you read this far, why wouldn't you) I provide my email address if you ever have any questions.

I really want you to succeed at making your housing. There are few things more joyful than coming home with video to show all your friends and family of your dive adventures, video you can keep and share forever.

I am not Steven Spielberg, the DVD is not a slick production. It is a simple self made DVD showing the step by step method of making the NEMO 200. I do not read from a script or talk at you looking at a teleprompter,

I show the parts being made or assembled and you hear my voice explaining what is going on and
where to be careful so you don't screw up as I have done from previous experience.

You can see a lot of videos taken by customers with a Nemo 200 housing on my old website at NemoHousing.com

If for some reason you are not happy, then I am not happy, and I offer a full 30 day refund like I do on all my items I sell.

If you have been wanting to get into underwater videography but were held back by the high price, here is a way for you to get started for very little.

See you out there.
