Fantasy Press published this stated first edition of SEVEN OUT OF TIME by Arthur Leo Zagat in 1949. The book measures 5-1/4" x 7-1/2" and consumes 240 pages.  Our gallery displays the Contents and a list of illustrations by Hannes Bok.  Jacket design by A.J. Donnell, one of the four founders of Fantasy Press.

Condition:

Sound book in good condition with good dustjacket. Text clean and unmarked, without provenance.  Dustjacket with minor wear including at the spinehead and the bottom of the back flyleaf.  Text block dust/age soiled.  Please view out gallery as part of the description.

Arthur Leo Zagat was an American lawyer and writer of pulp fiction and science fiction. Trained in the law, he gave it up to write professionally. Zagat is noted for his collaborations with fellow lawyer Nat Schachner. During the last two decades of his life, Zagat wrote short stories prolifically.

Hannes Bok, pseudonym for Wayne Francis Woodard, was an American artist and illustrator, as well as an amateur astrologer and writer of fantasy fiction and poetry.
