This mudra is formed with all fingers of the right hand touching the earth. This gesture symbolizes the Buddha's enlightenment beneath the sacred bodhi tree & when he bid the earth goddess, Sthavara, to come & bear witness to his achievement of enlightenment.
This is hand carved in Mas Ubud Bali of crocodile wood & is a beautiful smooth and detailed carving as are known to come from Mas Village.
