This lithograph is after the famous Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec poster commissioned by May Belfort in 1895 the showing wearing a red dress and holding her black cat in her arms. Cabaret artist, friend of Jane Avril, May Belfort was famous throughout Europe and America.
