BUYER TIPS ON PURCHASING THE CORRECT PISTON SIZE.
To determine which piston size you require there is a very important first step. Always measure your cylinder bore size first. This is only size that matters! Two-Stroke pistons are listed by size to FIT the cylinder bore size. Measuring pistons to determine what to purchase will most likely cause you to purchase an incorrect piston to fit the cylinder bore.
Two-Stroke pistons are manufactured with a cam shape. They are never straight and round. Measure a 2-stroke piston at the bottom of the piston skirt, ninety degrees from the wrist pin hole. This measurement only is used determine piston to bore clearance. Do not try to match a size from a used piston. This will always produce a faulty measurement. Used pistons wear out and change shape.
Buyer Tip: Before purchasing, remove your cylinder to be inspected and measure for bore size.
This is a new PRO-X Piston Kit, Standard "B" (53.95mm) size. Fits a cylinder that has lot's of hours on the standard 54mm bore and is a little tired. This piston kit will freshen the piston to cylinder bore clearance.

A qualified machine shop is required to measure your cylinder, then install the piston and re-assemble the top end.
