Not recommended if you have 'poor' weak signal strength stations.  A multi-directional or 360 degree antenna will have "less" range than  a directional antenna..  A directional antenna is recommended if you have stations far away or poor signal strengths to your address.

This version is also amplified via name brand RCA 4-way signal amplifier (featuring 4 ports of amplified signal for multiple TV outputs), in addition to 50ft of low loss RG6 coax  cable (the good stuff) and an efficient 360 degree outdoor HDTV antenna for a reasonable price!

This bundle listing includes:

  • Range Xperts 360 Degree Outdoor VHF & UHF HDTV Antenna
  • RCA 4-Way Signal Amplifier (you can run one to four TVs with this amplifier)!
  • 50ft of low loss RG6 (the good stuff) coax cable!

Don't need a signal amplifier or want to add your own?  No problem, we also have a listing without the RCA signal amplifier (see our eBay story or copy and past this link):  https://www.ebay.com/itm/393531908303

Note, this doesn't come with a cheap no name brand, generic signal amplifier like most listings that advertise as amplified (competitors typically include questionable generic signal amplifier quality and longevity and at a higher price tag may I add).  This comes with a name brand (RCA) 4-way signal amplifier (to run up to four TVs off of a signal amplifier), plus quality grade low loss 50ft of RG6 coax cable (coax connectors already installed) plus a 360 degree HDTV antenna that actually works on both the VHF and UHF tv bands (many 360 degree / omni directional antennas on the market work on UHF only, this one actually has UHF and full sized VHF elements on it as well).

This is a great universal antenna that actually works in all directions decently well with an up to 60 mile range over flat terrain without obstructions in the way.  You'll typically see these omni directional style antennas advertise as 130 mile antennas online, however real world performance is typically under 60 miles over mostly flat terrain (hilly or mountainous terrain or man-made obstructions can of course reduce range of any antenna).

The coax cable isn't the cheap RG59 type, but rather the thicker, low loss RG6 type and the signal amplifier is a name brand 4 way amplifier and much better made than most of the generic amplifiers that typically come with antennas today!

Although a 360 degree antenna is great for areas with stations in many directions, it should be noted that their range will be "less" than a directional antenna!

Although suitable for most areas, if you have an extreme area with bad terrain issues or distances over 60 miles, we also sell very long range directional antennas in our store (directional antennas have to be turned of course to realize any extra range).

How to know if your desired stations require a powerful directional antenna or just a 360 degree Omni antenna?    Run a signal report a TVfool dot com or Rabbitears dot info (we're also happy to help before your purchase).  The 360 degree antennas are usually fine for the strong stations (shown in green) and moderate weak stations (yellow background), however the "Poor" signals in red on these two sites will require a powerful, deep fringe "directional" antenna (with several antenna elements)..   We offer these antennas as well if your area needs them.

A large directional antenna will actually have less range than a 360 degree antenna such as this listing if it's not actually aimed at the stations..  This listing is for a good all around universal antenna that works in all directions fairly well and on both the VHF and UHF bands, this bundle deal marks a great value!

It's also simple to install, lightweight, and portable, and also popular with travelers / RV users.   This 360 degree antenna is easier, more portable antenna that's simple to install than the large directional antennas. .

Medium Range 360 Degree Outdoor HD TV Antenna - NO TURNING NECESSARY, with up to 55 Mile Line of Sight Range and an up to 130 mile "Tropo" skywave range (tropo is an occassional event that happens in the summer nights / mornings).

Note: many omni antennas on the market today often claim 130 mile range, this is not true, it's often used by them just to sell more antennas, it is virtually impossible to see those ranges, except under rare times when Tropo atmosperic conditions are present..  Please do not buy into antennas with 130 mile claims.  This is highly unlikely.   Even though this model is efficient, omni / 360 degree antennas will generally be limited to line of sight conditions and under 60 mile range (rare Tropo / atmospheric events being the exception).

Need a medium range antenna, that not only works decently well in all direcitons, but also works on both VHF and UHF too?  Don't want to fuss with something doesn't need to be constantly turned / something more convienent and low profile?  This is your model.

This antenna although may look the same, but many of the round style omni antennas are weak on the VHF side.  This model has a full sized VHF elements (the wings) for more efficient and effective VHF/UHF reception. The wide aluminum elements also offer improved impedance matching system over a wider VHF/UHF frequency range.  By the use of extra wide conductors on both the VHF and UHF bands, so it can more effectively cover the entire frequency band without a loss of performance.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Note: although outdoor 360 degree omni directional antennas don't have as good of a maximum range as outdoor directional antennas, they do have one key advantage, in their ability to pick up stations in all directions decently well.  This style is much more efficient than most Omni direcitonal models and works well on both VHF and UHF bands.  However if you have severe terrain obstructions, it's not meant to replace a deep fringe directional antenna by any means.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WILL WORK:

To get an estimation of channels this model can pick up, we highly recommend using the "TV Signal Locator" page on TVfool dot com or Rabbitears dot info.  Generally if mounted outside above roof height, it should get nearly all the VHF and UHF stations in both the "Green" and "Yellow" backgrounds (but none of the stations in the pinkish / reddish background).   If you have stations in the pink or reddish background or below, those stations are likely impossible or will require a deep fringe directional antenna to pick them up.

What's Included:
  • 360 Degree Omni Directional (works in all directions) HD TV Antenna
  • 50ft of "Low Loss" RG6 (the good stuff) coax cable
  • RCA 4-way Indoor Signal Amplifier

Typical Range:
(note - indoor mounting and/or severe terrain obstructions will reduce this number):

Typically range is under 60 mile line of sight if mounted above the roof and up to 130 "occasional" nighttime "Tropo" range (during some summer and fall nights and early morning, the tropospere bounces the signals back to earth, this is why the range can sometimes be greatly extended during these times only).
