The New fully bled XT M8100 hydraulic Servo Wave disc brake. High power and controllable braking for all MTB riding styles.

Consistently predictable and powerful, the trail-rated DEORE XT M8100 retains that standard while upgrading with a lighter, cleaner and more durable integrated master cylinder. This gives a sleeker look, saves weight and frees up valuable handlebar space. Refined Servo Wave levers provide improved feel and feedback, offering high power with a short brake pull. Like on past models, DEORE XT brakes retain tool-free reach adjust and Free Stroke adjust, whilst a narrow clamp band offers increased lever adjustment.

Shimano Deore XT RT-MT800 Ice-Tech Freeza Disc Centerlock

The Shimano Deore XT RT-MT800 brake disc uses the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza design to decrease the temperatures while braking what results in a consistent braking performance even in the most demanding conditions and increases the brake pad's lifetime as well. The basis of the construction is the disc's so called sandwich structure ( - aluminium - stainless steel) which not only improves braking power and reliability, but also effectively dissipates the heat via the integrated cooling fins.

  • SM-RT86 Ice-Tech rotors give excellent performance made from a stainless steel / alloy 3-layer sandwich construction that manages heat while riding
  • The clad steel / alloy / steel rotor construction allows heat generated from braking to radiate quickly through the aluminium core achieving surface temperature drops of around 50 deg C. When used with Ice-Tech pads surface temperatures can drop from around 400 to 300 deg C, this provides great improvements in performance all round
  • Ice-Tech rotors achieve long pad life, less noise and less fade due to improved heat dispersion
  • Rotor contact surface has been developed for excellent pad clearing and cooling which increases pad performance and life
  • Large forged alloy spider supports rotor surface, increasing rigidity and reducing weight
