2:Not compatible with Navigation radios. Not compatible with MX5 with Bose Sound System;
3: Not all Mazda 6 supports external CDC connection, internal modification might be needed; Mazda 6, produced from Nov. 2003 to Sep. 2005, needs to solder a jumper or a 0-ohm chip register on location L716 in its head unit.
4: RX-8 radio firmware version must be v9.55 or later, v10.1 and v9.81 not supported. (Note to check the radio firmware is available). |

Supported memory cards and USB sticks:
1.Max 8GB ;
2.2GB is most recommended;
3.Patriot brand memory cards are Not supported;
4.Overloading the memory card or stick (with too many folders or files) may cause problems with display of CD and /or track number and may also cause intermittent performance.
5.Using music files formats other than WMA and MP3 may also cause intermittent performance.
6.Sometimes,to remove defect on software of car audio system, you may need to disconnect the battery or remove the fuse to reset the car audio system

Installation Steps
1. Before installation, switch off the electric power, take out the Head Unit, and find CD Changer port at the back of the Head Unit.
2. Properly connect the wire harness between the product and the Head Unit.
3. Switch on the electric power, insert MP3/WMA storage device and run the Head Unit, check whether the product works normally.
4. After the successful test, fix the Head Unit in the original place, and put the wire harness in proper place. Then installation is completed.

Important Installation Information:
Your car head unit should be CD changer capable. This device is applied to orignal car audio equiptment or upgraded car audio equiptment with supporting digital music changer ports only , furthermore , same brand car with different model should use individual digital music changer . Each car use specific device . More options coming soon available for your choice .The in-dash CD changer will remain working, but external CD changer are switchable by a switch on the wire harness.
