Water Pump & Thermostat Housing

Cadillac water pump bearing casting number 1455524, complete with thermostat housing (its casting number is 1453818). From researching the part number online I think the water pump casting number is one-year-only for '49 Cadillac, but many sources list it as compatible with 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 and possibly 1954 Cadillac.

Casting has some surface rust and dirtiness, but no apparent signs of damage. The impeller turns freely by hand, but the pump will still need full rebuild (it should be treated as a core).
