| Normally when you flip your turn signal switch, the light blinks at a set, slow pace. However, if you have modified your lights | ||
| to use LEDs, you'll notice that the turn signals now blink very quickly (Hyper-Flash). This is caused by the low resistance of | ||
| the LEDs due to the fact that they use less power. To correct the problem, you'll need to wire the turn signals in a parallel circuit. | ||
| To do this, you'll be installing a resistor or control flasher. | ||
| ● DASH INDICATORS MISJUDGING BURNT OUT BULBS-- | ||
| The purpose to use LED is energy saving. LED bulbs may cause some newer | ||
| vehicles to indicate a bulb as burnt out (the truth is that the computer is disable to detect | ||
| the bulb because of their low power consumption). Except the Hyper Flashing in signal/turn light, some turn on a bad bulb | ||
| indicator also happens. The only fix for this is to install Load Resistors across the bulbs that are being indicated as bad. Some | ||
| vehicles will also disable the cruise control system if a brake light bulb is being indicated as bad, the installation of Load Resistors | ||
| is a general solution. | ||
