Up for sale is a group of 6 “Jiffy Stitchery” and 1 Vogart instruction and pattern sheets from various Sewing and Stitching themed kits. The original kits were sold from the 1970s to the 1990s. A “crafty lady” found a way to reuse part of the kit to make a lovely wall hanging quilt to decorate her craft room and so I'm offering these in case someone would like to do similar.

The original kits came with fabric, yarn, a color print of the finished product, a cardboard mounting board and the instruction/pattern sheet. These DO NOT HAVE fabric, yarn, or the mounting board. The ONLY thing included is the instruction/pattern sheet and the colored print of the finished product. One side of the instruction sheet has a drawing of the item to be stitched, a listing of the various colors of 3 ply yarn along with a number code that coordinates with the labelled drawing. The other side of the instruction sheet has instructions how to do each of the embroidery stitches required to complete the project.

The 'crafty lady' managed to copy, trace, hand draw or somehow transfer the image in the instructions to a fabric square (I believe the image in the instructions is the same size as the one that was stamped on the original fabric). She used her own yarn to embroider it (in some cases opting to vary the color choices from the instructions). She then sewed the various embroidered squares to other plain or print fabric squares and created a beautiful wall hanging/quilt. I'm sure that other 'crafty' people could find other projects to use these beautiful patterns for as well. The original projects were designed to fit into a 5" x 7" frame.
