Most of the items I sell are purchased from Estate Auctions or Sales, so I don't know the history or age of the piece.   I am not an expert, but will do my best to accurately describe the item and the condition.   Please carefully check photos as well, as they are part of the description.   Feel free to message with questions prior to bidding.

THIS LISTING:   Vintage piece of redware pottery from Japan.   Dark Brown Tea Pot with hand painted design.  Holds a max. of 28 oz. or 3-1/2 cups.  Not sure if this is "Brown Betty" or not.   No markings on the pieces other than "JAPAN".     Age unknown.   About 4-3/4" across x 4-5/8" tall to top of handle.   There are strainer holes between the inside of the pot and the spout.   Good, used condition with no chips or cracks found.   There is a tiny ding in the glaze on the side of the spout.

I have a similar 3 Piece Set that will be listed.  Slightly different color brown.  Check my other listings.
